Rapper, Lil Uzi Vert releases album “Pink Tape” after a three-year-long hiatus off the music scene.

This album has already filled the media immensely the day of release on June 30th. Fans are praising the album and excited for what is to come since the 2020 album, Eternal Atake. 

“Pink Tape” consists a 26 songs and is the third full-length studio album by Lil Uzi Vert. The album follows the EP, Red & White, which two pigments create the color pink in the namesake. 

According to Billboard, “The celebrated project sold 288,000 copies in its opening week and had three songs debut in the Billboard Hot 100 top 10, led by “Baby Pluto” at No. 6.”

The album is already trending in at least 50+ countries upon its first day of release.

Listeners will hear features from Nicki Minaj, Travis Scott, Don Toliver, and more. Millions of fans have commented and shared the news of the release on social media, along with many praising its release. 

Upon release, many fans took it to their Snapchat and Instagram stories to post a sense of ‘worship’ to the album. Many of these devotees even shared this 26 song collection without even listening to the whole thing. They are just big “Uzi” fans. Yet, is the album actually any good?

However, after researching feedback post initial release, many listeners have deemed the album to be decent. Complex pointed out the dire need for the album since the growing popularity of a specific song and dance to pair with. “For the past year and a half, Lil Uzi Vert has had us all switching our hips back and forth, thanks to his hypnotic dance anthem “Just Wanna Rock.””
