For months there has been speculation about who will replace Steve Jones, who was the host last year when the X Factor made its debut. The cat is finally out of the bag, reality TV star, Khloe Kardashian, and TV personality, Mario Lopez, have been chosen to co-host the
live shows airing Thursday, Nov. 1. At 8 pm.
Judge and Producer, Simon Cowell, said in a statement, “The worst kept secret in Hollywood is out, Mario and Khloé are our hosts. They will debut on our first live show in November and I couldn’t be happier.”
The hosts themselves are just as enthusiastic about the news. Khloe stated in a press release, “I’m so thrilled to become a part of The X Factor family. I’ve been a big fan of the show and look forward to working with Simon and all of the judges.”
Lopez added, “Khloe and I have been friends for years and I know we’ll be a great team and have a blast.”
Lopez is no stranger to live television having hosted “Extra” and “Americas Best Dance Crew”. While Kardashian has been star to shows “Khloe’ and Lamar” and “Keeping up with the Kardashians.”
Both celebrities are a great edition to the already fabulous panel of judges, that includes; Brittany spears, Demi Lovato, Simon Cowell, and L.A Reid; all who have large fan bases, will also have Lopez and Kardashian to thank for adding just a few million more viewers.
