IMAG0762

Each year a group here at Bloomsburg University works for months to create a  wonderful show.  “Image” is a group on campus that involves interpreting songs into American Sign Language.  Some of the songs are very heavy in signing and others are done to be visually appealing to the hearing.

Image has prepared 12 songs for this year’s show.  The songs are pulled from all types of genres.  They will be performing this Saturday, May 3 at 3 p.m. in Carver Hall.

The group works very hard to prepare their show: practicing  twice a week for four hours.  Even if you don’t understand sign language, the performance itself is amazing to watch.  You will see students that are sophomores, juniors and seniors that are involved in the ASL program.  So if you’re looking for something to do this Saturday, go check out the hard work of Ashlee Nollette, Erica Harriman, Cassie Raguso, Allie Berry, Emily DuBruille, Annie Koch, Annie Huttenlock, Amanda Hoot and Brian Kohlman.
