John Stamos Faces up to Six Months in Jail

John Stamos has finally been charged for his DUI arrest back in June. He is charged with one count misdemeanor for driving under the influence of drugs and faces up to six months in jail if convicted.

The Grandfathered actor was arrested on June 12 after police received several phone calls about an erratic driver. He was pulled over and taken to a nearby hospital where he was arrested when officials concluded he was under the influence.  A month later he checked himself into a rehab facility for substance abuse. After he completed treatment, Stamos told fans he was feeling much better.

Stamos recently opened up to Details magazine about the struggles he’s experienced in his personal life: “I’ve had a rough year with my mom dying, so it all came to a head, and it was a turning point,” the actor explained.

“You either continue on that path—and some of it’s fun, but a lot of it’s not—or there’s this other thing, this golden opportunity sitting there with all this work and all this goodwill that you have going for you. That’s the key. I feel better than I’ve felt in a decade.”

A source states this will have no impact on the production of Grandfathered.
