After months of speculation predicting a formal announcement, former Vice President and lifelong Democrat Joe Biden is running for President of the United States in 2020.
Biden joins an already crowded field of Democratic candidates, with other major names, such as Bernie Sanders, Pete Buttigieg and Kamala Harris being among his major competition.
According to numerous early polls, Biden may be the frontrunner of the Democratic Primary moving forward.
