Joan Jett and The Blackhearts Rockin’ & Rollin’ at The Bloomsburg Fair

BLOOMSBURG, PA- This year at the 167th annual Bloomsburg Fair, Joan Jett is setting the stage with a strong heart and a “bad reputation” for rock’ n’ roll as she continues to defy the odds. Jett was raised in an era when women were excluded from participating in rock ‘n’ roll, but as a teenager, she blasted her way into the boys’ club. Jett continues to be a strong, feminine influence and an inspiration to generations of fans around the world amidst a career that has encompassed music, tv, Broadway, philanthropy and more.
Joan Jett and The Blackhearts will be performing at the Weis Grandstand on Monday, September 26th, 2022. Visit the Bloomsburg Fair site for tickets and more information, or visit in person at the Grandstand ticket office on Fridays from 2-7 p.m. Call 570-387-4145 if you prefer to pay by phone. The doors will open at 6:30 p.m. and the show itself will start at 7:30 p.m.
Two of this groups most popular tunes are “I Love Rock’ N Roll” and “Bad Reputation“. Jett has nine Top 40 singles, eight platinum and gold albums, and she was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Blackheart has been doing music, movies, and television for 40 years, and they continue to support up-and-coming acts.
Last year, the fair welcomed stellar rock group Chicago, who blew the show away with their horns. Songs like “25 or 6 to 4” and “Saturday in the Park” filled the warm, September air and kept the crowds swaying along. What will Joan Jett and The Blackhearts bring to the stage this year?
