James Holmes makes first court appearance
Alleged shooter, James Holmes made his first court appearance Monday, July 23. Holmes is accused of being the shooter in the tragedy that took place in a movie theater showing the newly released film “The Dark Knight Rises” in Aurora, Colo. killing 12 people and wounding at least 38. It was decided that he will be officially sentenced on Monday, July 30.
Many commentators remarked on him seeming “dazed and confused” throughout the proceedings this afternoon and some are speculating that he is setting up for an insanity plea.
