Prepare yourselves for professional mix of acting and poetry coming here to Bloomsburg!  On Saturday, Nov. 12, at 8 p.m. the Emmy award-winning actor Anthony Zerbe will perform “It’s All Done With Mirrors”.  The price of tickets for Bloomsburg University students is fourteen dollars.  Captivating audiences nationwide with his brilliant insights on the famous works of E.E. Cummings, Zerbe breathes life into poetry in motion.  An acclaimed actor, starring in films and television series, he brings versatility to all his work. Both a past Broadway performer, and artistic director, it is no question why many universities seek out and praise Zerbe on his helpful lectures. “It’s All done with Mirrors” has played in 100+ venues including the Library of Congress.

He won critical praise for his adaptation of, and performance in, Prelude to Lime Creek taken from the prose and poetry of Joe Henry with singer Greg Barnhill at the Denver Center Theatre Company. He also appeared with Garth Brooks and John Denver in Lime Creek Christmas which he devised from Lime Creek, a novel-in-progress, by Joe Henry. Praised by the Los Angeles Times, Zerbe is skilled at moving effortlessly through different characters, accents, and brilliant wordplay.  The performance is sure to deepen anyone’s love of  the theater arts.  Zerbe will  cover some of Cummings favorite subjects: Paris, New York, Spring, first loves, and  the circus.  For a night filled with real art and entertainment, make your way down to the Kenneth S. Gross Auditorium in Carver Hall. Anthony Zerbe will reside here for two days prior to his performance of “It’s All Done with Mirrors”.
