Say it isn’t so. Is the original bad-ass of film really giving up her acting career? In a recent interview with Du Jour, Jolie confirmed that she will eventually be leaving acting, but she won’t be straying far from it. Instead, she hopes to take up a career behind the camera lens.

“I’ve never been comfortable as an actor; I’ve never loved being in front of the camera. I didn’t ever think I could direct, but I hope I’m able to have a career at it because I’m much happier,” says Jolie during the interview.

As Jolie talked about how she just directed her second film, “Unbroken,” she explains how much more rewarding directing feels rather than  acting. In the interview, she states how much being the director matters in such a different way  than acting and how much of your life you have to dedicate to it.

Don’t fret just yet. She isn’t leaving the acting world anytime soon. Starring in another upcoming  film with her beau, Brad Pitt, Jolie plays a dancer and her husband plays a writer in a love story set  in the 1970s. We all love a good love story, but that’s not even the best part. The film, “By the Sea,”  was written and will be directed by Angelina herself. Is there anything this woman can’t do? The  love story is set to hit theatres in 2015, and we can’t wait.
