The Bloomsburg University Club Ice Hockey team has won the 2017 GNCHC Championship.

After only losing one league game, the Huskies rolled into the playoffs as the top seed in the Greater Northeastern Collegiate Hockey Conference.
Saturday saw the Huskies take down LaSalle University, 5-2, in the semifinals. Then, on Sunday, the mission was completed. Bloomsburg downed Kutztown University, 3-1, in the championship game and the celebration began.
Years of rebuilding the program proved to payoff as the Huskies cemented themselves in history. For the first time in a long time, the Bloomsburg Ice Hockey players are champions.
