Hello, Hollywood: Adele’s Acting Career is Starting

Adele’s stepping into a new spotlight by beginning her acting career. After debuting in her monumental music video for her new single, “Hello,” Adele will allegedly be joining director Xavier Dolan in his newest film.
Dolan served as the director of the blockbuster video for the new hit by the British soul singer. She will be joining him again in his newest feature The Death and Life of John F. Donovan.
According to Vanity Fair, Adele is in talks to make a cameo in the film. She will not be recording any original music for the film.

This would be Adele’s first acting role in a movie, albeit a supposedly small role. She has been involved in movie soundtracks, such as the title song “Skyfall” for the James Bond flick released in 2012. Adele will also be making an upcoming appearance on Saturday Night Live on Nov. 21 so fans will also see her on camera then too.
Besides Adele’s “Hello” video, Dolan, a French-Canadian director and actor, is mostly known for his French indie films Mommy and I Killed My Mother.
Joining Adele, the cast also includes Jessica Chastain, Kit Harrington, Susan Sarandon and Kathy Bates. After seeing her acting in her music video, Adele has a good chance entering the acting circuit.
