The football team will not be the only people dressing for their upcoming game this week. On Thursday, Oct. 21 at 8 p.m. the Huskies will be playing Shippensburg at Redman Stadium for their Halloween game. The game will be broadcast nation-wide on CBS Sports Network.

The game will be featured as part of CBS Sports Network’s Game of the Week. In honor of the holiday game, students are encouraged to sport their gold attire while they cheer on the Huskies for a “Ghouls of Gold” night. All gold apparel will be discounted 30% on Oct. 30 and 31 at the University Store in light of the nationally televised event.

Halftime entertainment will feature the winners of the Halloween Costume Contest, sponsored by Campus Dining/Aramark. The First place winner will receive $1000 in dining dollars. $500 dining dollars will go to second place and $250 dining dollars will go to third place. Registration for the costume contest will be from 6:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. Judging will begin at 7:30 p.m. before the game.

The Huskies will look to avenge their last meeting with the RedRaiders, where their season came to a tough 58-20 close at Shippensburg in the first round of the playoffs. However, with an undefeated squad playing fresh off a dominant 35-7 win over Cheyney, “Ghouls of Gold” night at Redman Stadium is sure to be a game to look forward to.

The game will also be broadcast live on PCN and NCAA.com.
