March is over but the madness continues. However, it’s not basketball. The NCAA’s DI ice hockey tournament will begin its final stages tonight at United Center in Chicago. Each game will be broadcast on ESPN2.

The first matchup at 6:00 p.m. will feature (3) Harvard vs. (2) Minnesota Duluth. According to SB Nation, Minn. Duluth ” had the more thrilling road to the Frozen Four, needing three combined overtime periods to eliminate Boston University and Ohio State in the first two rounds.”

On the other hand, Harvard is back in the Frozen Four for the first time since 1994. Will the magic continue for the Bulldogs or will Harvard be rewarded with a spot in the championship after such a long absence?

Tonight’s second matchup pits (1) Denver against (4) Notre Dame at 9:30 p.m. The Fighting Irish made their way to Chicago by way of upset after stunning top seeds Minnesota and UMass-Lowell in the opening rounds of the tournament.

On the other end of things, Denver took down Union (N.Y.) and Penn State in the first two rounds. Being a top seed, Denver has a lot to live up to while Notre Dame has themselves an extraordinary challenge at hand.

Four teams, two teams, then one champion. The Frozen Four is heating up.
