From Party Animal, to Mama Bear, Snooki Expecting Baby Number Two!
If there is anything that we can learn from reality TV shows is that the stars of these shows are not what they seem OR some, not all change their lives around for the better. This is nothing but true for one of our favorite reality TV stars Nicole Polizzi, otherwise known as “Snooki.” We once saw her on “The Jersey Shore” living the life of a young woman in her twenties spending the summer in Seaside Heights, New Jersey, and the only thing that was consistently shown on the show were her partying habits. After the show ended for good and she unexpectedly became pregnant for the first time, she changed her life around for the better and has a one-year-old; adorable son named Lorenzo, and is engaged to Fiancée Jionni Lavelle. It has recently been announced that little Lorenzo is going to become a big brother because Snooki is now expecting her second child!
She took to her blog to confirm the pregnancy and also address the hate that she has been receiving. Here’s what she had to say:
“Jionni and I are so excited to confirm that we are expecting our second child! Now knowing that our test results are good and our baby is healthy, we can finally talk about it!”
Nicole has also been receiving tons of hate for reproducing again and being a mom in general. Also, she is being accused of stealing the “pregnancy spotlight” from her best friend Jenny Farley, also known as “JWOWW” who is also expecting a baby girl. Snooki says:
“With announcing this pregnancy, I’m STILL getting hate for “reproducing” and being a mother.”
“What really bothers me is how people think I got pregnant to be “selfish” and take the “shine” away from JWoww.”
It must be hard transitioning from being on a reality TV show where people see nothing but the worst sides of you to living a normal life; and Snooki has done that well. One thing that we can all admire about Snooki is that she was able to change herself and her habits for her new family. We wish her nothing but the best and that she has a happy and healthy rest of her pregnancy.
