Kylie Jenner Raises Close to $500,000 for Smile Train

Kylie Jenner is most known for her family’s reality television show, Keeping Up with the Kardashians, and her highly successful business, Kylie Cosmetics. Although, recently she has  been recognized for her contribution to Smile Train. The charitable organization strives to provide children with untreated cleft lips and palates in developing countries with 100% free cleft repair surgery and aftercare.

The “Smile” lip kit was first released on Oct. 3, in honor of World Smile Day, and sold out in minutes with 100% of the net proceeds going directly to Smile Train. Jenner raised $159,500 for the organization, funding 638 children with cleft lip and palate surgeries.

At the start of the new year, Jenner decided to relaunch the “Smile” lip kit on Jan. 5, raising an additional $300,000 for Smile Train.
