The New Year is here and has brought many new and exciting trends!  Every fashion guru knows that certain fashion trends can only last for so long. According to the Huffington Post, here are a couple of fashion trends that readers believe should be left in 2013.

  1. Ombre Hair
Personally, I think ombre hair is a trend that could carry into 2014. Some celebrities were partaking in this trend well before it even became popular. I think this has potential to be worn in 2014.
  2. Crop Tops
This was a trend I always wanted to try but was always a little hesitant. I think this trend could go into 2014, if the trend is being worn correctly. Personally I think crop tops should be worn with only a little skin showing between the shirts and bottoms. For example, a crop top paired with a high wasted skirt, pants, etc
  3. Cutout Dresses
These dresses are simple and sexy. Cutout dresses let girls feel and look good without showing too much. Personally, I am a fan of this dress and would like to see it more throughout the New Year.
  4. Stiletto Nails
This is a fashion trend that I personally was never interested in and never understood. It looks to me like people have claws. This is one trend that I would like to see stay in 2013.
  5. Spiked Leather

I am a big fan of both leather and spikes. I firmly believe that spiked leather can be pulled off but only on certain items such as purses. Although I am a fan, this is a trend I would like to see stay in 2013.
  6. Mini Shorts
Every girl needs a pair of daisy dukes! This is a trend that can never go out of style because it’s very versatile and I believe a key piece for every girl’s closet.
  7. Bandage Dresses
Bandage dresses have been around for quite some time and I think they will continue to be around for quite some time. They are also simple but add a certain something because of the texture. This is a piece I would like to see stay in 2014.
  8. Wedge Sneakers

Wedge sneakers are another fashion trend I could never get myself into. These shoes remind of a pair of sneakers I had from the 90s! The big platform sneakers were a must have back then. This is another trend I would like to stay in 2013.

What are some fashion trends you would like to see stay in 2013?
