As the spring semester approaches, different fashion trends start and are seen all around campus. Here is a list of a few upcoming fashion trends to start shopping for in spring 2023.
Oversized
Oversized sweaters and hoodies have been trending for quite some time. However, oversized pants have made their way into the trend as well. This trend allows you to be comfortable and stylish at the same time. Celebrities such as Hailey Bieber participate in this trend.
Cargo Pants
Similar to the oversized pants trend, cargo pants are also making more of an appearance lately. Not only do cargo pants have that oversized and comfortable fit but, they also have tons of pockets as well as quality fabric. Kim Kardashian and Hailey Bieber are seen wearing cargo pants.
Platforms
Platfrom shoes have been trending for a bit. However, platforms will continue to trend through the upcoming seasons. Not only are platforms the new style, they also allow for a much taller appearance. There are all types of shoes and brands trying out the platform look. Ariana Grande and Selena Gomez rock this trend in their platform heels.
Cutouts
This trendy fashion design is typically seen on shirts and dresses. Cutouts started trending in the past year or two and will continue on in year 2023. Cutouts allow more skin to show, specifically the waist, back, shoulders, and hips. Zendaya and Dua Lipa are wearinng different styled cutout dresses.
Corsets
Corsets have been a trend for a while. However, we see more and more ways people are styling corsets. Corsets are worn tightly around the waist and chest to create a flattering and curvy figure. Dua Lipa and Dakota Johnson are seen showing off their corsets.
Jumpsuits
Not only are jumpsuits an easy and comfy outfit option, they are also coming back in different styles and designs. These can be worn for a fancy event or to lounge around the house in. With styles such as, wide-leg, formal, palazzo, and skin tight. Jumpsuits are for every season and seen on celebrities such as Jennifer Lopez and Kylie Jenner.
