Experience Real Christmas Spirit at the Radio City Music Hall

It’s not to late to buy tickets for Program Board’s New York City Bus Trip to see the Radio City Christmas Spectacular.

On Saturday, Nov. 9, students will have the opportunity to see the Rockettes perform live at the legendary Radio City Music Hall for the Radio City Christmas Spectacular. Students can see the show or spend their time in New York to see other attractions. The bus will leave Bloomsburg from the Geisinger Hospital parking lot at 7 a.m. and will leave New York at 8 p.m.

Radio City has been the showplace of the nation since 1932. The Rockettes, known for their eye-high leg kick in perfect unison in a chorus line, have performed their unique combination of modern dance and ballet since the birth of the world’s largest indoor theatre. The Radio City Christmas Spectacular is a holiday tradition etched in the heart and soul of New York. Students will be filled with Christmas spirit as the show features a 3-D sleigh ride with Santa, performances by the Rockettes, and unique takes on classic Christmas stories like “The Nutcracker.”

Time Magazine calls the show, “One of the grandest holiday traditions in the U.S…. bring the whole family!”

The New York bus trip is sponsored by Bloomsburg University’s Program Board and will only be available to students with their BU ID cards and who have paid their Community Activities fee. The costs for the trip are as follows:

  • Bus to New York: $30
  • Bus to New York with guests: $35
  • Bus and Show ticket: $75
  • Bus and Show ticket with guests: $85
