Springfest 2013
You can tell spring is here when the flowers are blooming, the sun is shining, and people are hanging out outside having a good time. What better way to end the semester than with Roongo and fellow Huskies at the third annual Springfest? Springfest is a campus-community event, that allows students and staff to participate in a healthy alternative celebration to Block Party.
Start the weekend off right at Musicfest by jamming to performances by touring musical artists and even fellow BU students at 5:00 p.m. April, 19 on the academic Quad.
On Saturday, April, 20, the action begins at 10:00 a.m. with the 5k race, Quest Rock Wall, and Ziplines at Upper Campus. Registration for Springfest will open up at 11:30 a.m. at Nelson Field House’s gym lobby. Once you pick up your free Springfest t-shirt, Mardi Gras wristband, and concession stand tickets, enjoy a plethora of events and activities throughout the day. Featured events include inflatable obstacle courses, sports, crafts, Zumba, Hip-Hop, tie-dye, Rita’s water ices, and lots more. At 4:00 p.m., you could have the chance to win awesome prizes and Husky Gold with BU’s favorite game of chance: BINGO!
