Spring is among us, which means most Bloomsburg University students only have Block Party on their mind. However, during that weekend, there is an alternative event for students: Springfest.

On April 21 and April 22, students can participate in Springfest’s activities on campus. Both days offer free food, giveaways and admission while supplies last. That Friday’s events begin at 2 p.m. with a luau on Lycoming Lawn and end with a Late Night Taco Cart at 11 p.m. on the Kehr Union Patio. Beginning at 10 a.m. that Saturday, is a rock wall and zip line at Quest across from Nelson Field House. Registration begins at 11:30 a.m. when you can pick up a free t-shirt, wristband, and meal tickets at the Nelson Field House Gym Lobby. See the flyer below for a list of all the activities and their respective times.

Last year, Springfest had 2,587 participants. The CLE Office is hoping to surpass last year’s total number. If you’re looking for something to do that involves free food and fun activities, stop by the seventh annual Springfest.
