Just like that, Super Bowl Sunday is upon us airing on Fox on February 12th! This time, it will take place in the State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, where it will be nice and toasty even during this time of the year.
The two valiant contenders this year are the Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs. Both teams are fueled by powerful offenses. Fans have spent some time comparing and contrasting the analytics of each team, and are going as far as speculating the Chiefs have an advantage because they have better balance overall, while the Eagles have solid top players. Regardless, this game will be electrifying.
Viewers are looking forward to more than the game itself. The most-watched event on television in America is the Super Bowl halftime performance. Headlining this year is our multi-billionaire artist Rihanna! Rihanna fans are throwing parties and causing a commotion all over social media. Apple Music dropped a video titled, “Rihanna is back.” The video mentioned her six-year break from her music career after winning 9 Grammies.
Of course, it is far from a secret that Rihanna had taken a break to run her company Fenty beauty. Although her business is a success, fans are elated to see her return to the stage! She is seriously incredible and even football players are celebrating her return. Behind Rihanna, the pre-show performers are Sheryl Lee Ralph singing “Lift Every Voice and Sing” and Babyface will sing “America the Beautiful.” On the horizon we see football fans cheering and music fans screaming.
