Nick Carter Being Sued For Attacking Bar Bouncer

Nick Carter is being sued for allegedly trying to choke a bouncer at a bar in Florida on the evening of Jan. 13.

Skylar Carden, the bouncer, filed a law suit against Carter which states that he physically attacked him. Daily Mail says that according to TMZ, “the bouncer is claiming Nick ‘was originally escorted out of the Hog’s Breath Saloon for his ‘unruly and disrespectful hogs-breath-saloon-key-westbehavior,’ before he attacked Carden.”

The staff asked Carter and his friend, Michael Papayans, to leave after they showed up at the bar already visibly intoxicated. Papayans head-butted the bar manager, demanding a drink. This left Papayans with a bloody face.

Carter did however publically apologize for his actions that evening. He then continued to apologize through a couple of tweets which say, “I am human and at times it can be a struggle to balance a healthy lifestyle. I’m not perfect and for that I am sorry,” and,  “When we fall we have to get up and keep on walking. I hope you stay by my side and continue to walk with me.”

Before this incident, the last time Carter was arrested was in 2002 in Tampa, Fla. at the age of 21 because, “he refused to follow police orders to vacate the night club Pop City.” There was a brawl inside and the Backstreet Boys member was asked to leave 10 times. “Carter was charged with a misdemeanor count of resisting and opposing a law enforcement officer without violence.”
