New American Idol Judges Announced
American Idol chooses two interesting judges for season 12
Out with Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler and in with a young money diva, and a country heart throb. American Idol season 12 has recently released who the new judges will be. Nicki Minaj and Keith Urban will now be criticizing, and saying “yes” in the auditions this season on idol.
Urban and Minaj will still be seated next to veteran judge, Randy Jackson, who has been on the show since day one, and Mariah Carey who has been a guest mentor on the show in the past. Carey will still be paid the highest salary on the show, $ 18 Million dollars, thus, makes her the highest paid judge on any singing-competition show.
The show will kick off filming it’s 12th season with the first round of auditions in New York on Sunday. Look for the show to air in January.
