Miley Cyrus releases ‘BANGERZ’

Weeks after her infamous VMA performance, Miley Cyrus released her fourth studio album, titled ‘BANGERZ’ on Oct 8, 2013. The album includes hits like “We Can’t Stop” and “Wrecking ball.” Moments after the release, ‘BANGERZ’ made it to number one on the iTunes charts. Critics are voicing their opinions about Mileys new album, to name a few…

“There’s plenty more provocation on ‘BANGERZ’, which moves away from the glossy electro-pop sound of Cyrus’ earlier records toward a grittier, hip-hop-inspired vibe,” wrote the Los Angeles Times, Mikael Wood.

Nick Catucci of Entertainment Weekly  referred to the album as, “utterly fresh, a pop blitz from a hip-hop blueprint, and proof that Miley won’t settle for just shocking us.”

With this album, Miley has truly shown her “new image” drifting away completely from her “Hannah Montana” days. Miley recently stated to her father Billy Ray Cyrus, “This is the happiest I have ever been.”

We sure won’t be seeing the end of Miley anytime soon, as she continues to prove herself in the music industry and as she truly becomes her own person.
