Kendrick Lamar is Back
Kendrick Lamar has made a comeback. The “To Pimp a Butterfly” rapper has just announced his upcoming album which will be his latest album in five years. The best part is we are a month away from the release.
The 34-year-old rapper posted a primary message on his Oklama website back in August 2021:
“I spend most of my days with fleeting thoughts. Writing. Listening. And collecting old Beach cruisers. The morning rides keep me on a hill of silence.
I go months without a phone.
Love, loss, and grief have disturbed my comfort zone, but the glimmers of God speak through my music and family.
While the world around me evolves, I reflect on what matters the most. The life in which my words will land next.
As I produce my final TDE album, I feel joy to have been a part of such a cultural imprint after 17 years. The Struggles. The Success. And most importantly, the Brotherhood. May the Most High continue to use Top Dawg as a vessel for candid creators. As I continue to pursue my life’s calling.
There’s beauty in completion. And always faith in the unknown.
Thank you for keeping me in your thoughts. I’ve prayed for you all.

Today, he updated it with an official document stating the album’s release and release date. The minimalist website is a blank webpage that has two files: one in black that is unidentified and one in yellow that is entitled “nu thoughts.” When you click on the black one, you’ll be sent to a copy of the statement on a pgLang letterhead that says:
The able is titled “Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers” and will be released May 13, 2022.
The rapper also responded to a tweet from February where a user was claiming his “official retirement” with a link to his website announcing said album.
One of the most important aspects of this letter was that it added, “All factual information for this release will come directly from this source only.” This statement officially debunks any rumors about any of the rapper’s upcoming music.
