There’s no doubt that Katy Perry’s Super Bowl Halftime Show left an impression. However, whether it was good or bad is up to you.
Perry’s entrance on a giant tiger in her fiery outfit caused some talk and many memes on the internet, but what really stole the show were her dancing sharks. They appeared once she began singing “Teenage Dream” and took over the show.
More specifically though, Perry’s “Left Shark” was the center of attention. All eyes seemed to be on him because of his offbeat dancing. John Mayer emphasizes this in his interview on CBS’s Late Late Show with the sharks.
As a guest host on the Late Late Show, Mayer was able to get Katy Perry’s sharks to appear. His comedic interview with them occurs with their “marine biologist” speaking for them because, even though these sharks can dance, they cannot talk. Mayer and the sharks’ biologist engage in some funny banter, but Mayer’s goal was to create a viral video dancing with the sharks. Sadly, Mayer is left dancing alone.
