Scream Queen’s scary, funny, or a mix of both? Producer of both Glee and American horror stories, Ryan Murphy has done it again!
Coming out with a new series Scream Queens which stars some of the hottest young adults of our generation, Emma Roberts, Leah Michelle, Ariana Grande, Keke Palmer, and Nick Jonas just to name a few. So can it be true? Is it possible that the producers mixed both the humor of Glee and the horror of American Horror Stories together to produce Scream Queens? The show takes place at a college sorority called Kappa Kappa Phi. It’s one of the most popular sororities and most sought after on campus, making it almost impossible for anyone to join. Kappa becomes open for everyone on campus because of Kappa Kappa Phi hater Dean Cathy Munsch (Jamie Lee Curtis). Pretty soon after the opening of Kappa to everyone, havoc breaks through the sorority, a killer is on the loose. Anyone could be the killer in this TV show, which makes it even more exciting to watch. The producers say “Scream Queens is part black comedy, part slasher flick and a modern take on the classic whodunit.”
Not only are the producers excited to air the show but most the cast has taken to twitter and instagram for promotion. In fact, recently on Emma Roberts instagram she posted a picture with her new bestie Leah Michelle working out together. Captioning it “Love working out and working with my favorite girl!!!!!!!! Thanks for kicking our butts before work on #ScreamQueens”
Will this be the new “it” show of the year?
I guess I’ll have to watch to find out. But the question is; are you going to get your scream on? The show airs September 22nd.
