2013 Dancing with the Stars Celebrity Line Up

Dancing with the Stars reveals the 2013 star studded cast. From actors to scientists anyone could win!

Fall television is back. ABC released its 2013 celebrity line up for Dancing with the Stars on Good Morning America on Sept fourth. The primetime show is now in its Seventeenth season and pressing forward with some new and old faces.

 

This season will be a two-hour, one night a week show, instead of its usual two nights. The dancers will compete and at the end of the show a team will be leaving the dance floor. The celebrity line up goes as follows:

 

Amber Riley-Teamed up veteran dancer Derek Hough; Riley is one of Fox’s hit breakout stars from “Glee”. With her dance experience from the show she might have a chance at the coveted mirror ball trophy.

 

Leah Remini- Best known from her role as Carrie in the King of Queens, this star will be dancing with Tony Dovolani. Remini’s secret weapon might be her large group of Scientology fans. Having a large fan base is half the battle in this type of competition.

 

Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi- The proud new mama to one-year-old Lorenzo has been instagraming her preparation for the start of the show. Snooki is well known for her wild antics and heavy partying on MTV’s Jersey Shore. She also had much success in brands she has created such as “Snooki Couture.”  She has been partnered with rookie Sasha Farber.  These two might coast to the top because of Snooki’s widespread popularity.

 

Jack Obsourne- Son of the infamous Ozzy Osbourne, is not new to television. The family starred together in their own show The Osbournes back in 2002 and it continued till 2005. He is partnered with Cheryl Burke who has two mirror ball trophies under her belt.

 

Bill Nye- The mechanical engineer is best known for his kids show Bill Nye the Science Guy.  He’s worked on 747’s and also has written six children’s books. Nye is partnered with rookie, Tyne Stecklein. With his mathematical mind, could he calculate a win?

 

Christina Milian- Partnered with Mark Ballas, this singer, actress, and television star has the whole package. Her song “AM to PM” shot her to fame and she hasn’t stopped. Her professional career consists of music videos and popular movies like Bring it On: Fight to the Finish. The way she shakes it, she might knock out the competition.

 

Keyshawn Johnson- The former professional football player dominated the field for The New York Jets, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Dallas Cowboys, and the Carolina Panthers.  He retired in 2006, however, in 2009 he came back into the sports industry broadcasting for ESPN. He will be gracing the dance floor with Sharna Burgess.

 

Valerie Harper- Partnered with Tristan Macmanus, Harper is known for playing Rhoda in the Mary Tyler Moore Show. She is a member of the Screen Actors Guild and was diagnosed with lung cancer in 2009. Her partner has yet to win the competition but his fifth season might be the charm.

 

Bill Engvall- This country music star and comedian does it all. He created the hit TBS show The Bill Engvall Show, was Grammy nominated, went on a comedy tour, and has written numerous books.  Engvall has been partnered with first timer Emma Slater.

 

Brant Doughtry- He is best known for his role as Noel, on ABC Family’s hit show Pretty Little Liars the heartthrob also appears in the daytime soap Days Of Our Lives.  He has been partnered with Peta Murgatroyd.

 

Corbin Bleu- This Disney Channel star is best known for his role as Chad, in High School Musical, High School Musical 2, and High School Musical 3: Senior Year. Bleu has been dancing his whole career and will continue to with veteran Karina Smirnoff.

 

Elizabeth Berkley Lauren- She is best known from her breakout debut as Jessie on Saved by the Bell. She has gone on to play Julie Winston on CSI: Miami and many film roles like The First Wives Club,. Lauren, aside from her TV and film career, also participates in self-esteem workshops and her website, ask-elizabeth.com, gives young girls an outlet to ask for help. Lauren has been partnered up with Valentin Chmerkovskiy.

 

The brand new cast will take the floor Mondays at 8pm ET. Tom Bergeron and Brooke Burke-Charvet will be hosting the extravaganza leading up to the elimination of one of the contestants. Viewers can cast their votes via text message up to an hour after the show ends.
