BUnow’s 2017 Wing Madness
BUnow announces the 2nd Wing Madness here at Bloomsburg University this spring Mar. 24, 2017.
Featuring a variety of wing options, this event is a wing eating competition that puts local restaurants head to head against each other to see who has the best wings in town. The restaurant with the best wings will win a plaque that they can hang up.
All students will have a chance to fill out a free bracket to try and best match-up who they think will take home the title of the 2017 Wing Madness Champion. The winner of the best bracket will get bragging rights and will be presented with a $100 gift card to the winning restaurant, purchased by BUnow.
On Friday Mar. 24, eight students from student organizations and sports teams will participate as judges in the wing-eating contest. During that time, BUnow will film the event and once the video editing is complete, the video will be posted on BUnow.com.
“BUnow has been doing these ‘March Madness’ style competitions for the past couple years now, and it’s so much fun to plan! It really helps the students and the local restaurants come together to produce a fun competition on campus. We love being able to help promote all of the great restaurants we have here in Bloomsburg and showcase their best dishes,” says Darian Brenner, Public Relations Director at BUnow.
BU students have until Thursday, Mar. 23 at midnight to participate in the competition. Starting Friday Mar. 24, check BUnow.com for updates on which student had the best bracket. If you are the winner, an email will be sent to you with further details.
