This coming Friday, October 1st, Chicago, a Rock-and-Roll Hall of Fame member and legendary music group, will be playing live at the Bloomsburg Fair.
What to expect at The Bloomsburg Fair: The concert itself is Friday, October 1st at 8pm. The concert will take place at The Grandstand – Presented by Weis Markets. There are two options for seating in the Grandstand or on the Track. Buy your tickets here.
Chicago is the first American rock band to chart in the Top 40 for five decades in a row. The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inducted Chicago in 2016. This was their first time being nominated and they’ve been eligible since 1994.
Two Grammy Awards, two American Music Awards, Founding Artists of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, a Chicago roadway named after them, a Hollywood Walk of Fame star, and proclamations from an amazing number of major US cities are among Chicago’s lifetime accolades.
The band originally started in 1967 in Chicago, Illinois and have been touring since the beginning. Although the line-up may have changed throughout the years, they kept on jamming just the same. Three of the original members are still standing strong. Robert Lamm taking on his role of keyboards and vocals, Lee Loughnane on trumpet and vocals, and James Pankow rocking the trombone will give you an absolutely stellar show.
To follow is the rest of the line-up: Wally Reyes, Jr. on drums, Lou Pardini on keyboards and vocals, Keith Howland on guitar and vocals, Neil Donell on vocals, Ray Herrmann on sax and flute, Brett Simons on bass, and Ray Yslas on percussion. This band’s concerts are nothing less of a celebration, with the characteristic sound of the Chicago horns, legendary Vocalists, and a few dozen ever-classic songs.
Other various groups will also be performing at the fair either for free or cost of ticket. Check out https://bloomsburgfair.com/events/ for more coming this week at the Bloomsburg Fair!
