Celebs Single and Possibly Ready to Mingle?
After just nine months of dating, Big Sean and Ariana Grande are no longer together. On Monday, April 20 the former couple released a joint statement saying, “They both care deeply for each other and remain close friends. We kindly ask that the media respect their wish for privacy regarding this personal matter at this time.”
Their relationship started during the press tour of Dark Paradise, and then their friendship slowly turned into more. The dating rumors were confirmed by Grande when she was interviewed by Telegraph magazine. She said Big Sean was, “One of the most amazing men in the world, and that includes my grandfather and my brother.”
Within the past few months of their relationship Big Sean told Ryan Seacrest, “Everything she has going on is good with her, everything I have going on is good with me, everything between me and her is good, and I’m just going to leave it at that.”
However, if they broke up not long after his statement, how good were things actually going? Anyone following the couple could see, Justin Bieber, Grande’s ex could be a factor in the break up. On April 8, Bieber and Grande performed a duet where Bieber got too hands-on with Grande. That’s where things seemed to go downhill.
According to a source who spoke with HollywoodLife exclusively, Grande didn’t like how other girls threw themselves at Big Sean and that he did nothing about it. Big Sean also had issues from day one with any of Grande’s male friends, primarily Bieber.
Another inside source, friends with the two former lovers, said that their decision to go their separate ways happened a few weeks ago and very quietly. The source told US Weekly, “They made the decision to part ways because their conflicting touring schedules would keep them apart over the next year.”
Miley Cyrus and boyfriend of five months, Patrick Schwarzenegger, have also recently called it quits. According to sources who talked with E! News, the couple is on a “break.” However, the sources who spoke with People.com have clarified that the couple is “done.”
The inside source claiming the couple is “done” says, “They’re just in two different places in their lives- he’s in college and she’s focused on her music and career.”
Apparently things began to get awkward when Schwarzenegger was found doing body shots off of one of his fellow students at University of Southern California in March. However, he did report to the media that the female he took a body shot off of was his best friend’s girlfriend; so nothing too scandalous there.
Another incident took place when Schwarzenegger appeared to be getting cozy with another girl while he was in Cabo San Lucas for Spring Break. According to E! a photographer caught pictures of the two super close and the girl was definitely not Cyrus.
According to a HollywoodLife.com source, Cyrus was upset with Schwarzenegger for treating her as an afterthought to attend Coachella with him, as he went with his buddies and she did not attend.
The source also said, “Miley felt that Patrick didn’t really appreciate her so she ended things with him. He’s fun and cute, but too immature relationship-wise.”
