It is no secret that Candice Swanepoel is one of Victoria’s Secret’s most beloved Angels. The blonde bombshell has walked in the past eight VS fashion shows and is intended to walk again in this year’s show. However, her health may be standing in the way of the adored model strutting down the VS catwalk that will be taped today, Nov. 10.
On Nov. 5, Swanepoel posted an image to Instagram sporting an oxygen mask, which she shared on Twitter, writing “possibly the worst time to get the flu. #doctordoctor.”

However, the image has since been deleted and her most recent Instagram post is the model rocking a VS bra, panties and angel wings looking healthy and cute. It is unknown why the image was deleted, but one can speculate that it was to ensure nothing compromised Swanepoel’s walk in the VS fashion show. The Angel fittings were occurring over the last week and Swanepoel supposedly hadn’t missed one.
Judging by Swanepoel’s deleting of her sick Instagram post and her recent tweets and posts about the show, we could have guessed the model would still be featured in this year’s VS fashion show.
Lucky for us the Angel is feeling well enough to walk in the show. We hope she’s really feeling better and not just barreling through her illness for the sake of the show; however, we know the veteran Angel would.
We’re all sending lots of love and well wishes to the beautiful blonde, and are thankful our prayers worked and she hasn’t become a fallen angel.
