Times are Tough: Contribute to Area Food Banks

With millions of Americans including families in the Bloomsburg area struggling with job loss, Thanksgiving takes on a special significance this year. Nationwide, unemployment is close to 10 percent, and many families are hurting. As a result, more people need help this year putting food on the table for Thanksgiving dinner. Those getting help likely will be more thankful this year for what they have than any time in recent history.
