The Details

Where: Kehr Union Multipurpose Room A&B

Why You Should Go

  • There will be four large projections screens displaying the AFC & NFC Championship games.

  • There will be free food and drink throughout the day from various sponsors including Quaker Steak and Lube.
  • A live DJ will be in attendance.

The Call to Action- A message from Paul Rosa and Sean Roth:

“All Bloomsburg students should download the Sploops app, create an account, and start posting rants and polls about their favorite teams! They should also tell their friends to sign up. The more downloads and users we reach by the end of Jan. 24 at the launch party, the more prizes we will give away!”

Sploops allows sports fans to post video rants (Up to 15 seconds) from their mobile phones as they talk trash, cheer their team on or offer their opinion on almost any sports topic. Users will also have the ability to share content across social media networks and post polls. Sploops is the first video sports forum of its kind.

Rosa and Roth founded Sploops LLC in 2013 as college seniors after raising only $15,000 in funding.

In 2015, co-founders Paul Rosa and Sean Roth raised $115,000 in funding to launch their vision of a mobile video sports forum to the App Store. The revolutionary app allows fans to voice their sports take through 15-second video rants, interactive polling, and social sharing.

Stay tuned more announcements from the BU alums, as they will be coming to campus soon.

“Sean and I will be on campus starting Thursday (Jan. 21) to promote the party and talk with students. We will also be having some pre-party festivities at the local bars and off-campus housing nights leading up to Sunday.”
