Root 11 joins with Bloom Naturally

A fairly new restaurant to Bloomsburg, Root 11, has recently unveiled a collaboration with the health food store, Bloom Naturally. This collaboration has been planned for several years.
Root 11, a bistro that started as Mike’s Food Truck, features a fresh vegan-friendly menu. According to their website, they “opt to source as much as… [possible] from local purveyors and farms in [the] immediate area…”
The co-owner of the bistro, Mike, says, “Our philosophy is to offer quality food for anyone, despite their diet restrictions, ergo we like to have plenty of plant-based options.”

One customer favorite is the pan-fried falafel, which is vegan. The nova style sockeye salmon sandwich, which is topped with smoked salmon, cream cheese and pickled asparagus, is an unusual menu item that has won many wary costumers over.

The collaboration with Bloom Naturally makes perfect sense, as Root 11 has sourced their ingredients from the organic retailer many times before, both as the food truck and now as the bistro.

Bloom Naturally sells everything one would want from a health food store: bulk coffee, chocolate, soap, cheese, even makeup!
Root 11 is open Tuesday through Saturday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Bloom Naturally is open Monday through Saturday, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. They are located at 1233 Columbia Blvd in Bloomsburg.
