If you’ve been downtown recently, you may have noticed that Frank’s Trattoria, the pizzeria originally located at 134 E. Main Street, has moved to a storefront a few doors down.

Frank Nash, owner of Frank’s Trattoria, says he decided to move to the new location because the space is bigger and “closer to the action.” The new look has brought in more customers, especially families, according to Nash. He also hopes that being closer to the bars will draw in more of the late-night crowd.

In addition to more dining space, the new restaurant features a room downstairs, which currently holds arcade games and a dance floor. He plans on moving the arcade games upstairs and hopes to one day get more use out of the downstairs area. He does not, however, have any definite plans because of liability issues and the need for security that opening the downstairs up to large groups of people entails.

Nash does, on the other hand, have plans for the building that previously housed Frank’s Trattoria. He plans to convert the former pizzeria into a Spanish restaurant, which will, like Nash’s current establishment, be open until 4 a.m. “I’m working on it right now. It’s probably gonna take about two months,” says Nash.
