BU Program Board: Get Involved & STAY Involved!

Are you new on campus or just looking to get involved? Well Bloomsburg University’s Program Board is just what you are looking for! Program Board is a volunteer student organization that holds social events for students as well as CGA funding. Some of the events include bingo, midnight pizza, night class dance club, trips to NYC, movies, massages and many more. Program Board is important to have on campus for the students to have fun events to attend, to socialize and have a good time and to learn valuable leadership skills.
This highly recognized organization is open to all students on campus. They are always looking for new members and creative ideas. Students can have a say in the events that are held on campus each semester and get a chance to get their ideas heard about future events they would like to see happen at Bloom. Students can join Program Board to help out at the monthly activities when they choose to, or they can join a specific committee if they want to be more involved. If you are interested in being a member of a certain committee some of your options are Bingo and Games, Special Events, Travel, Hospitality and more.
All you have to do to join Program Board is to attend their general meetings that are held once a month in the Kehr Union Multipurpose Room. You get to choose your involvement after that. Joining an organization like this one is a great way to meet new people and form long-lasting friendships. It is also a great way to help other students get involved and promote the activities offered. Be sure to check out the Program Board page on the Bloom Website and their Facebook page for more information!
