BUnow Presents: Hoagie Madness
It’s that time of the semester; BUnow’s food madness competition has arrived.
You may be familar with Pizza Madness and Wing Madness, both food competitions held by BUnow in the past. This semester, the chosen category is (drumroll please), Hoagies!
So, what exactly will Hoagie Madness entail?
BUnow members have hand picked 16 restaurants that they believe serve the best cold cut subs in Bloomsburg. Review the list below:
- Berrigan’s
- Weis
- Frank’s
- Subway
- Original Italian Pizza (OIP)
- Marley’s
- Balzano’s
- Walmart
- La Fontana
- Panera
- Carnini’s
- Sheetz
- Nap’s
- Turkey Hill
- Giant
- Steph’s
The next step is to choose taste testing judges. Each judge represents a different organization, club, sports team, etc. on campus, and gets to enjoy free hoagies, only to narrow down which they believe is the best. There will be 16 judges in total, eight per night. Hoagie Madness will last for two full nights, Tuesday, Nov. 12, and Wednesday, Nov. 13. Restaurants will be eliminated as both nights proceed. The taste testing will be videotaped and posted by BUnow’s video team, giving everyone a chance to be a part of the fun!
So, how can YOU be involved?
Fill out a Hoagie Madness bracket! Choose who you believe has the best hoagies in town, and have the chance to win a $100.00 Visa gift card (don’t spend that all in one place, ya hear)!
