BUnow’s Staff Pick of the Week: Cailley Breckinridge

This week’s staff pick is “Yellow Flicker Beat” by Lorde. This song is featured on the The Hunger Games: Mockingjay soundtrack. Lorde is an 18-year-old singer/songwriter, born as Ella Marija Lani Yelich-O’Connor in Takapuna, Auchland, New Zealand. She is best known for her album Pure Heroin, released in mid-2013. This is Lorde’s second time appearing on the soundtrack list in this fictional dystopian booktomovie series.

Also featured on the soundtrack is another version of the song titled “Flicker (Kanye West Rework)”
