BU Student Passes Away in Hiking Accident

This Friday afternoon BU sophomore Greg Anstine passed away in a hiking accident in Mayberry Township. According to The Daily Item the accident occurred in an area affected by this weekend’s ice storm.
Anstine was a sophomore business administration major who had made the dean’s list three times. Anstine was also a member of the Pi Lambda Phi chapter at Bloomsburg.

BU Spokesperson Tom MaGuire told the Daily Item: “The BU community is saddened by the passing of Greg and we ask everyone to keep his family and friends in their thoughts during this time.”
