The Columbia County coroner pronounced fellow BU student Timothy Robinson, 21, of Willow Grove, dead after being found in Fishing Creek on Sunday, Dec. 15, according to The Press Enterprise.
Police found Robinson after investigating his abandoned SUV near by. The coroner said Robinson died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound where he then slid down a hill to the creek.
Robinson was born in Philadelphia on May 27, 1992. He graduated from Upper Dublin High School in 2010. He is survived by his parents, Thomas and Cynthia, his brother Andrew, and his grandparents Leonard and Geraldine Seropy. According to Robinson’s obituary, he enjoyed playing hockey with friends and playing video games.
The memorial service will commence on Dec. 21, 2013 at 10 a.m. at the Emil J. Ciavarelli Family Funeral Homes, 951 E. Butler Pike, Ambler, Pa 19002. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.
