BU Dance Ensemble’s Annual Recital

On Thursday, April 18, and Friday, April 19, the BU Dance Ensemble hosted their annual recital in the Haas Center. The doors opened at 6:15 p.m., and at 7 p.m., the show began in front of an auditorium filled with excited audience members, eager to see the dancers and all of their talent.
The recital consisted of many different types of dance including tap, jazz, hip hop, modern, lyrical, ballet, hard shoe, Latin, Irish soft, African, and Acro. All of these different styles of dance provided the audience with continuous thrill and enjoyment. The loud music created the exhilarating atmosphere for the dancers and the audience members.
The BU Dance Ensemble is the largest student run organization on campus. All of the dance routines performed at the recital were choreographed by students who act as teachers for the organization.
If you missed this show, be sure to check out the recital next spring because it is an on campus event you don’t want to miss again. The dance ensemble also has a fall showcase which features previews of what to except for their spring recital.
