Public Relations Cases & Problems class from Bloomsburg University aims to fundraise $1,500 for the local EOS Therapeutic Riding Center.

EOS Therapeutic Riding Center, founded in 1992 by Debbie Smith, is a horseback riding facility that aims to improve the health, well being and quality of life for individuals with physical, mental, and emotional challenges. With currently servicing about 90 riders, maintaining 150 unpaid volunteers, and the amount it costs to take care of the horses and grounds, fundraising is vital to their non-profit organization.

Our Public Relations; Cases & Problems class, taught by Dr. Richard Ganahl, is holding a combination of fundraising events to support EOS’s “Miracles on Horseback.” Monday, Oct. 27 and Tuesday Oct. 28, there will be tables selling paper horseshoes, salsa, and peanuts in McCormick Center for Human Services from 11 am- 3pm. We are in the process of selling t-shirts with a gorgeous new logo, and holding a Wendy’s dinner night on Oct. 27, from 5 p.m.- 8 p.m. All of the proceeds made will go towards sponsoring riders in need of therapy who can’t afford the program, and the maintenance of their horses. Our mission is to give every person the opportunity for the simple joys in life without worrying about money for once.

To provide and witness a Miracle on Horseback, join our events or click here to donate to a wonderful cause.
