It’s that time of the year when the dreaded tax season is upon us. Did you receive a W-2 and stare blankly at it because you have no idea what to do with it? If you’re in that situation, or if you just don’t feel like doing your own taxes, come down to the Greenly Center at 50 East Main St. and have certified volunteers prepare your income taxes for you.

Every Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. through April 6, Bloomsburg University accounting students who are members of the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program and Professor Gabriel Genovese, a BU accounting instructor, will be there to prepare your income taxes. It’s completely free—VITA members are all volunteers—and an easy way to complete your taxes that will hopefully result in a nice refund check coming your way!

VITA has already completed a successful week of helping students and other members of the Bloomsburg community, so feel free to stop by during the next months to free yourself of the burden of doing taxes.
