Kyle Allwein, a senior Bloomsburg University student is the winner of BUnow.com’s 2012 March Madness Bracket Challenge. Allwein is a marketing major at Bloomsburg and received a 100-dollar Visa gift card for filling out the best bracket in the competition. He was correct in choosing three out of the final four teams and selected Kentucky as the national champions. Allwein learned about the bracket challenge from a sign outside of the Student Services Center.

March Madness also known as the NCAA Division One Men’s Basketball Championship. It concluded April 3  with the Kentucky Wildcats winning the title. March Madness is the practice of filling out empty brackets that have all 64 teams that made it in to the NCAA Tournament. Fans of college basketball usually fill out multiple brackets and are in a handful of different pools. The person who fills out the bracket wins all of the money put into the pool. BUnow.com did not have an entry fee for this years bracket challenge but gave away a first prize of 100 dollars.
