Bloomsburg University Greek Life will be hosting the fourth annual Dorm Storm event on Dec. 3 and 4 for women interested in spring recruitment, an opportunity for students to seek membership within the sororities on campus. The event will take place in the Columbia Hall Recreational Room, and is to begin at 6:30 p.m.

Any women interested in joining Greek Life are encouraged to attend and will get the chance to learn about the different organizations at Bloomsburg University and their philanthropy services. The sororities will each have a table set up, and will be making crafts with the girls who attend to donate for people and organizations in need. Any important information and dates about upcoming events will also be announced.

Dorm Storm began in the fall semester of 2010 as a good way to prepare sororities and potential new members for recruitment. “It is a fun way to meet sisters from all the organizations and a small preview of recruitment,” said Molly Dubs, National Panhellenic Council President.

To be eligible to participate in recruitment, one must have a minimum 2.5 GPA and must have received 12 credits. Spring recruitment is to begin Feb. 2, 2015.
