Alpha Sigma Alpha Raises Money for Special Olympics
On Wednesday, Nov. 12, the girls of Alpha Sigma Alpha coordinated with Marley’s to raise money for the Special Olympics.
The event will tookplace at Marley’s Bar and Grille on 1323 Columbia Blvd, Bloomsburg, Pa.. 17815 right on route 11. For the entire day, 10 percent of the proceeds went go directly to their philanthropy, Special Olympics!
They had a dunk tank where you could dunk a sister or a Marley’s employee for a fair price. The dunk tank took place from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Marley’s has delicious meals such as their dip, amazing home brewed beer, sandwiches, burgers, and many more options! In addition to great food and the dunk tank, they had various fun fall games to play!
This was Alpha Sigma Alpha’s second year doing their Splash for Special Olympics fundraiser. There was also live music from the band “Last Call Beautiful” from 7 p.m.-9 p.m.
