Adidas has just announced a new partnership with Beyoncé. The partnership is being described as a “multi-layer deal”. Beyoncé will be a creative partner with the brand, develop signature apparel and new footwear, and relaunch her brand Ivy Park with Adidas. Last November, Beyoncé bought out Phillip Green, Topshop billionaire, to become the full owner of the Ivy Park, in the aftermath of allegations of sexual harassment and racial abuse against Phillip Green.
“This is the partnership of a lifetime for me,” said Beyoncé in a recent statement.
“Adidas has had tremendous success in pushing creative boundaries. We share a philosophy that puts creativity, growth and social responsibility at the forefront of business.”
