Adele Is Finally Back!
It’s been four years since we’ve heard new music from the British sensation, Adele,
but thankfully we won’t have to wait much longer. Her new album, 25, will be released Nov. 20.
Adele dropped the bomb in a letter to fans posted on her social media accounts.
She explained why she “took so long” and how this upcoming release will differ from her incredibly popular sophomore album 21, which sold over 11 million copies. She told fans, “My last record was a break-up record and if I had to label this one I would call it a make-up record.”
“25 is about getting to know who I’ve become without realizing. And I’m sorry it took so long, but you know, life happened,” she concluded.
Adele has spent the majority of the past four years out of the public eye, instead focusing on her personal life.
In 2012, she gave birth to a son with longtime boyfriend, Simon Konecki. She only occasionally stepped back into the spotlight for small projects, most notably the theme song to the James Bond movie Skyfall.
