It was supposed to be a night spent coming off the euphoria of celebration. But instead, around 10 p.m. on May 9, the day Bloomsburg University senior Wildre Paulino was originally set to graduate, he watched in horror as his home went up in flames, taking everything he owned with it.

“My family and I have nothing to our possession. We have lost everything: all important documents, clothes, keys to our cars, cash we had as well as our wallets,” Paulino said in a Facebook post on Sunday. “We are looking for a place to stay but we are limited on resources,” he added.

A GoFundMe has been created to help the Paulino family in this time of need. Please consider donating—a tragedy of this kind is never easy, but in the wake of a pandemic, it becomes even more complicated. Every dollar makes a difference, and no sign of compassion shall go unfelt.
